Practicing Smarter with Better Practice

October 30, 2016

Better Practice‘s recommendation engine is a smart way to make practice more efficient. Rather than practicing everything to make sure you’re covered, the recommendation engine users multiple factors for determining what you should be practicing next:

  • When you last played it
  • How well you last played it
  • How complex the piece is

To learn more about it, watch this video:

Keep in mind that there are three practice list to choose from:

  1. Current – this will only show the current assignments and no recommendations
  2. Standard – this tells the engine to put more of an emphasis on rotating through your practice repertoire
  3. Enhanced – this tells the engine to put more of an emphasis on mastering complex pieces, rotation is still there but only emphasized after all the mastering pieces have been completed
